Signature Aviation closed its acquisition of Fort Lauderdale Executive Jet Center on October 31st, 2025.<\/p>\n
Signature Aviation has acquired Fort Lauderdale Executive Jet Center \u2013 the full-service private aviation terminal at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE).<\/p>\n
The transaction \u2013 completed on October 31st, 2025, \u2013 sees the executive airport \u00a0joining Signature\u2019s global network of more than 200 locations in 27 countries across five continents.\u00a0South Florida is one of the most active private aviation regions in the US, according to the company.<\/p>\n
Tony Lefebvre, CEO, Signature Aviation welcomed the acquisition. \u201cOur focus on elevating every moment for our guests is at the forefront of everything we do, and we\u2019re excited to expand our network access in South Florida with our Signature hospitality, service, and team member experience,\u201d\u00a0said Lefebvre.<\/p>\n
As part of the deal, sealed for an undisclosed sum, Signature will acquire the 10,000sqft main terminal and more than 100,000sqft of multi-use hangar and office space on 15 acres of land. The company\u2019s other facilities in the region include: Boca Raton Airport, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Miami International Airport, Miami Executive Airport, Opa-Locka Executive Airport, and Palm Beach International Airport.<\/p>\n
Marshall Myles, CEO, Fort Lauderdale Jet Center said: \u201cWe\u2019re looking forward to seeing how they continue to grow this location and build on the 25-year history of Fort Lauderdale Executive Jet Center.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cFort Lauderdale Executive Airport serves as a premier gateway to South Florida,\u201d said Rufus A James, airport director, Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. \u201cThe addition of Signature Aviation is vital to sustaining and enhancing the region\u2019s economic growth by attracting more business to the Airport, increasing accessibility, and strengthening South Florida\u2019s appeal for investment, tourism, and business development.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Signature said over the coming months it will be working with the Fort Lauderdale Executive Jet Center team to finalise site plans and branding updates, while ensuring an efficient transition for guests and team members. \u201cShortly we begin work to modernisee the terminal, improving operations, elevating the guest experience, and strengthening the facility\u2019s capabilities,\u201d said the company.
