TALLAHASSEE, Fla (WCTV) – A former LCSO School Resource deputy accused in a drug trafficking conspiracy has entered a plea to federal firearms charges, court records show. <\/p>\n
Bill Culpepper, 56, and his son Garret Culpepper, 25, were arrested in March 2025<\/a> on marijuana trafficking charges and later indicted in federal court.<\/p>\n Federal court records, known as PACER, show Bill Culpepper entered a guilty plea last week to two counts – possession of an illegal machine gun and possession of an unregistered firearm. <\/a><\/p>\n Bill Culpepper could face up to 10 years in federal prison. He is scheduled to be sentenced on January 20, 2026.<\/p>\n His attorney, Tim Jansen, had no comment on the plea.<\/p>\n Culpepper\u2019s son, Garret Culpepper, is also under federal indictment for drug distribution and weapons charges.
