According to The Stein Line<\/a>, league sources believe the Heat have strong interest in veteran guards Tim Hardaway Jr.<\/a> and Mike Conley<\/a>, as the franchise looks to strengthen its backcourt around its new superstar.<\/p>\n

Both players would bring valuable experience to a Miami team that is expected to enter the 2026-27 season with championship ambitions.<\/p>\n

Heat searching for veteran backcourt help <\/p>\n

Acquiring Antetokounmpo was the biggest move of the offseason, but it also left Miami with little room to spend in free agency.<\/p>\n

His ability to space the floor could make him a strong fit alongside Antetokounmpo, whose presence often creates open looks for shooters.<\/p>\n

Mike Conley Jr. offers a different skill set.<\/p>\n

In 54 games this season, Conley averaged 4.5 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists while shooting 33.5 percent from the field and 33.7 percent from three-point range.<\/p>\n
