FlightRadar<\/p>\n<p>ATC audio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Ne2noE1SFNk\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">obtained by ABC News<\/a> captured the tense exchange between the pilot of the plane which had entered the runway and air traffic controllers<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou just crossed an active runway,\u201d a controller said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou just told me to cross the runway sir,\u201d the business jet pilot replied.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo, we said Amerijet 461.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Federal Aviation Administration has since revealed the private plane was unauthorized to be on the runway \u2013 and an investigation is underway.<\/p>\n<p>NetJets \u2013 the company which operates the private plane \u2013 has not commented.\u00a0 The Post has contacted American Airlines for comment.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.77777778;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"39829290\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/american-airlines-flight-aborts-takeoff-132675359.jpg\" alt=\"An American Airlines plane in mid-air with text overlays of a radio exchange between ATC and a pilot about crossing an active runway.\" class=\"wp-image-39829290\"  \/>There was a tense exchange between the pilot and air traffic controllers. ABC7 News Bay Area<\/p>\n<p>The American Airlines plane, an Airbus A319, left Miami just before 8 p.m., around two hours after its scheduled departure time, and landed in Bermuda just before midnight local time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Another <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/06\/27\/us-news\/united-airlines-flight-almost-hit-drone-at-newark-airport\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">near miss was reported Friday<\/a> at Newark airport, involving a United Airlines plane that was coming into land.<\/p>\n<p>Its pilot said \u201cWe almost hit a drone\u201d in audio verified by CNN. The pilot said the object was \u201cabout 100 feet below us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnited flight 1513 reported a potential drone sighting prior to arriving in Newark.
