Lakeshore Lodge<\/a> at Disney World is really coming along! This will be Disney\u2019s newest hotel, located in the Magic Kingdom area near Fort Wilderness.<\/p>\n

The resort is set to open in summer 2027, which means we\u2019re about a year away from a brand-new lazy river<\/a> (okay, and new hotel rooms, restaurants, views, and more, but I\u2019m here for the pool). Construction is coming right along, and we just got a new look at the hotel.<\/p>\n

This new look is from @bioreconstruct<\/a> on X, and these aerial shots are making us so excited for the resort to open.<\/p>\n

The resort is set to have about 960 rooms and villas and is a<\/a> Disney Vacation Club resort. Just from the overhead pics, it looks to be a big resort! To give you an idea, Disney\u2019s Grand Floridian Resort<\/a> has about 860 rooms.<\/p>\n

Oh, just look at that lazy river! It looks more like a racetrack right now, but imagine it with water, in an inner tube, a pi\u00f1a colada in your hand. The dream!<\/p>\n

The pool looks to be centrally located between the rooms. We bet the pool view rooms are going to be popular since who can resist a Disney World hotel pool?<\/p>\n

Overall, the resort is starting to look a lot more finished than it did months ago. While the ground still needs to be finished, the resort right on the water is so gorgeous.<\/p>\n

Bioreconstruct labeled this as a multipurpose room, and we\u2019re excited to see what it ends up being. Maybe room for games or activities, a conference room to rent, or something else. Disney hasn\u2019t released information on it yet, but we\u2019ve been keeping an eye out.<\/p>\n

Disney recently released concept art of the pool area, and this might be rising to the top of our favorite hotel pools. From the water slides to the otters, we\u2019re going to have so much fun.<\/p>\n

Of course, the lazy river is a prominent feature, and we\u2019ll probably be spending way too many hours here going round and round and round.<\/p>\n
