According to ESPN\u2019s Shams Charania<\/a>, Fontecchio intends to sign a one-year deal to return to Miami.<\/p>\n

This season, Fontecchio appeared in 70 games for the Heat, averaging 8.5 points and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 37.5% from three-point range.<\/p>\n

Miami continues building around Giannis after blockbuster trade <\/p>\n

Acquiring Giannis Antetokounmpo was the biggest move of the offseason, but it also left Miami with limited room to spend in free agency.<\/p>\n

That means the Heat are expected to focus on players who can fill specific roles rather than pursue another marquee signing.<\/p>\n

According to The Stein Line<\/a>, league sources believe the Heat also have strong interest in veteran guards Tim Hardaway Jr. and Mike Conley, as the franchise looks to strengthen its backcourt around its new superstar.<\/p>\n
