Alannah Keyser didn\u2019t have a very long run on \u201cLove Island USA\u201d<\/p>\n

The season 8 contestant lasted just four days in the villa after an old video of her using a racial slur came to light. In the resurrected Snapchat clip, Keyser allegedly sings along to the NSFW lyrics of rapper Roddy Ricch\u2019s \u201cThe Box,\u201d which include the n-word.<\/p>\n

On Friday, Peacock announced the 21-year-old had been fired from the popular reality dating show.<\/p>\n

Now for the apology tour. The next day Keyser took to TikTok for her mea culpa.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry to whoever has seen that video and has been offended by it; that was never my intention,\u201d she said to the camera. \u201cThe video is from six years ago, and that word is just not in my vocabulary anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

Keyser, who is studying film at the University of Southern California, added that she is really hurt by the fallout.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I first found out that these things were going around online, it really broke my heart, and I couldn\u2019t do anything about it,\u201d said the Young Women\u2019s Preparatory Academy alum. \u201cThis has definitely been a learning lesson for me, and it sucks that I didn\u2019t get a chance to really show my personality and who I am.\u201d<\/p>\n

The model-influencer seemed locked in to meet Mr. Right, or at least Mr. Right Now. In her introduction video, she explained her mating style.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m definitely going in for the kill. I\u2019m gonna get what I want,\u201d she said. \u201cThese boys don\u2019t know what\u2019s coming.\u201d<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time a local contestant has been sacked from \u201cLove Island USA\u201d for an unsavory reason. Last season\u2019s Yulissa Escobar<\/a> was dismissed after Redditors unearthed old videos of the event planner dropping the n-word on a podcast discussing an ex-boyfriend.<\/p>\n

Escobar, now 28, also later issued an apology on her social media:<\/p>\n

\u201cIn those clips, I used a word I never should\u2019ve used, a racial slur. I used it ignorantly, not fully understanding the weight, history, or pain behind it. I wasn\u2019t trying to be offensive or harmful, but I recognize now that intention doesn\u2019t excuse impact. And the impact of that word is real. It\u2019s tied to generations of trauma, and it is not mine to use.\u201d<\/p>\n
