Orlando-based Foundry Commercial has been hired to lease out space at Tampa\u2019s Highwoods Preserve Corporate Center as the tech firm Syniverse prepares to move out.<\/p>\n
The available space, Foundry says, is the 198,750-square-foot, six story Preserve 1 at the center.<\/p>\n
Foundry says in a statement that the space is expected to become available in early 2027. However, the a listing on its website says the company plans to remain until its lease expires Dec. 31, 2027.<\/p>\n
Tampa-based Syniverse did not respond to questions Friday about why it was moving or where it was moving to.<\/p>\n
Syniverse is a global telecommunications business that bills itself as \u201cthe world\u2019s most connected company.\u201d According to its LinkedIn page, it processes over $35 billion in transactions per year. It has occupied the space since 2005.<\/p>\n
As for the office building, it can accommodate 1,200 to 1,500 employees and includes raised flooring throughout, dual 2-megawatt backup generators, structured and surface parking for nearly 1,000 vehicles and a facing a lake.<\/p>\n
Lease terms were not disclosed.<\/p>\n
The Highwoods Preserve Corporate Center, near Interstate 75 and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, is a 1.8 million-square-foot office park with a tenant list that includes MetLife and Depository Trust & Clearing Corp.<\/p>\n
Foundry Commercial’s Dale Peterson, Joe Chick and Christine Mansour are representing the property\u2019s ownership with help from CBRE\u2019s Barry Hanerfeld and Molly-Molloy Catlett.<\/p>\n
