The complaint was filed to compel DeSantis to name a replacement for Judge Kevin Emas, whose resignation was announced March 31st.<\/p>\n
The decision drew pushback from elected officials and the public at a board meeting yesterday.<\/p>\n
Florida\u2019s new budget includes AIDS Drug Assistance Program funding<\/p>\n
The Legislature set aside $75 million in ADAP funding, and those who earn 400% of the poverty level are now eligable. <\/p>\n
DeSantis distances himself from Florida\u2019s property tax ballot item<\/p>\n
Although he will vote for the ballot item, he said \u201cwhat the Legislature did wasn\u2019t my proposal.\u201d<\/p>\n
