{"id":326643,"date":"2026-07-01T23:34:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-01T23:34:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/326643\/"},"modified":"2026-07-01T23:34:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-01T23:34:08","slug":"cops-accuse-6-in-south-florida-child-prostitution-sting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/326643\/","title":{"rendered":"Cops accuse 6 in South Florida child prostitution sting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text text--small text--normal text--primary\">Published:\u00a0July 1, 2026 at 7:06 PM<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">MIAMI \u2014 The Miami-Dade State Attorney\u2019s Office, as well as state officials, have said since last month that they would be cracking down on human trafficking during the FIFA World Cup festivities and according to arrest reports, six arrests made in Miami on Tuesday night were examples of that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Authorities took six men into custody.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Investigators said they posted an ad online depicting underage girls and a phone number, and on Tuesday, the men called. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">According to the arrest reports, in each case the men agreed to pay money for sex with what he believed to be one or two girls aged 14 and 15.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">In one case, a man allegedly said he\u2019d pay $200 for a \u201cquick visit\u201d with both, but after arriving at the rendezvous point, the men instead were met by cops. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle said her office will be cracking down on sex crimes and other illicit activity that pick up during big events like the World Cup.
