This year\u2019s NBA Draft was a quiet one for USC. With the majority of their top players returning to school, the Trojans<\/a> did not have a draft pick<\/a> for the second consecutive year.<\/p>\n

However, one Trojan is headed to the league as an undrafted free agent. This week, USC\u2019s Ezra Ausar signed a deal with the Miami Heat<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After start off his college career at East Carolina and Utah, Ausar transferred to USC for his senior season in 2025-2026. In his lone year with the Trojans, he averaged 14.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. One of Ausar\u2019s best performances in Cardinal and Gold came in the Maui Invitational back in November, when he put up 25 points and eight rebounds in an 83-81 victory over Seton Hall.<\/p>\n

Now, Ausar is headed to Miami. He will look to compete for a roster spot on a Heat team that should be significantly improved following the recent acquisition of superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks<\/a>.<\/p>\n
