Leer en espa\u00f1ol<\/a><\/p>\nAccording to an arrest report from the City of Miami Police Department, the incident occurred shortly after 11 a.m. Monday in the 2300 block of West Flagler Street.<\/p>\n
Police said the victim claimed that as she was walking through the parking lot of a Burger King, on her way to school, the suspect, later identified by police as Keldon Figueroa, hit her on her buttocks, grabbed her by the wrist and asked her a few times, \u201cDo you want to f***?\u201d<\/p>\n
The victim told police that the man was holding a key between his fingers and she feared that he would use it as a weapon.<\/p>\n
According to the report, the victim said she \u201chad to act clueless,\u201d and the man eventually let her go and fled in the opposite direction.<\/p>\n
Figueroa and the victim do not know each other, authorities confirmed.<\/p>\n
Police said surveillance footage from the Burger King captured part of the incident.<\/p>\n
According to the report, Figueroa was located the next day at work and was arrested.<\/p>\n
Police said he was on probation in connection with a separate case and his GPS monitor placed him at the scene of Monday\u2019s crime. <\/p>\n
He now faces charges of attempted kidnapping and battery.<\/p>\n
As of Thursday morning, Figueroa was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. He was expected to appear in bond court sometime Thursday. <\/p>\n
