(WCTV) &#8211; A driver charged in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2022\/07\/14\/police-drivers-were-drunk-racing-through-red-lights-ahead-deadly-w-tennessee-st-crash\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2022\/07\/14\/police-drivers-were-drunk-racing-through-red-lights-ahead-deadly-w-tennessee-st-crash\/\">deadly 2022 street-racing, drunk-driving crash<\/a> along West Tennessee Street in Tallahassee was found guilty Wednesday, according to court records.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Vonetria Noble was originally charged with vehicular homicide and DUI manslaughter. On Wednesday, recent court documents show that she was found guilty of DUI manslaughter, but rather than vehicular homicide, she was found guilty of a lesser charge of reckless driving.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">As of Thursday, Noble\u2019s mugshot is exempt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The guilty verdicts come four years after the deadly crash occurred on May 19, 2022. A second driver, who court records identified as Mianni Cox, died in the accident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-center\">More on crime in our area<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A Tallahassee Police investigation revealed that Noble and Cox had gone to dinner together at a restaurant on Apalachee Parkway that evening. Noble told authorities that the two each had three shots of tequila at the restaurant just before having another drink together at a bar across the street before heading home, per court documents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Moments later, both Noble and Cox began racing across town at a \u201chigh rate of speed,\u201d according to several witnesses cited in the court records.
