JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2013 Detectives are investigating a shooting that left a man injured outside a Southside apartment complex.<\/p>\n
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office, officers responded around 3:30 a.m. Saturday to Barnes Road South after receiving reports of a shooting.<\/p>\n
When officers arrived, they found a man in his late 40s suffering from gunshot wounds to his arm and leg. Jacksonville Fire and Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital, where he is being treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.<\/p>\n
Investigators say the victim was standing outside his apartment building when four armed suspects approached him and opened fire.<\/p>\n
According to detectives, the suspects carried a combination of rifles and handguns. After the shooting, all four suspects ran from the area on foot. Investigators have not released a possible motive.<\/p>\n
Police described the suspects as four males wearing dark clothing and ski masks.<\/p>\n
