MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKEF) — Miami Township Police are asking the public for any information they may have about the suspects in a robbery investigation.<\/p>\n

According to the department’s Facebook post<\/a>, this incident occurred Friday around 5:00 p.m. at JCPenney.<\/p>\n

Police say three females were involved in a theft at the store. As they were exiting, Loss Prevention attempted to stop them, when one of the subjects sprayed Loss Prevention with pepper spray.<\/p>\n

The individuals then fled the scene in a black Acura sedan. The police say officers tried to stop them, but the subjects drove “recklessly” in and out of traffic and then headed northbound on I-75, according to the post.<\/p>\n

This investigation remains ongoing, and all three females are wanted for questioning regarding potential robbery charges.<\/p>\n
