The 911 caller reported flames and smoke coming from the roof of the home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Holley-Navarre Engine 41 arrived on scene and confirmed a working house fire. The home\u2019s occupants were alerted by working smoke detectors, allowing them to safely evacuate before firefighters arrived.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The fire originated on the exterior side of the residence and rapidly extended into the attic. The home sustained significant fire, smoke, and water damage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Holley-Navarre Fire District was assisted through mutual aid by Midway Fire District Engine 35, Truck 36, District Chief 35, and Navarre Beach Fire Rescue Engine 49.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">There were no injuries reported.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">This incident serves as an important reminder that working smoke detectors provide critical early warning and can make the difference between life and death during a fire emergency. <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WALA.
