Trump.According to the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office for the Middle District of Florida, in one written statement, Davies said the request about the assassination \u201cis true and factual,\u201d and in an April interview with Secret Service agents, he acknowledged writing the messages.The letter said in part, &#8220;I have orchestrated the most daring Presidential assassination that this country has ever seen,&#8221; and, &#8220;I will personally be responsible for the greatest Presidential assassination ever, I will go down in history. All you have to do is watch.&#8221;According to statements, court documents, on April 15, a Special Agent asked Daves what he would do if PresidentTrump was sitting near him, and the defendant claimed that he would attempt tokill the President with his bare hands.The U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office for the Middle District of Florida said Davies is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 2, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. in federal court.The federal charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000 and up to three years of supervised release.Davies is currently serving a state sentence for robbery that prosecutors say runs through June 2032.
