The next one will take place on July 14 at 7 p.m. with #1 New York Times bestseller Karin Slaughter, author of \u201cPretty Girls\u201d and \u201cThe Good Daughter.\u201d She will chat about her North Falls series, including \u201cWe Are All Guilty Here\u201d and her upcoming sequel, \u201cThe Secrets We Hide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Slaughter is the author of more than 25 novels, including the Edgar nominated \u201cCop Town\u201d and standalone novel \u201cFalse Witness.\u201d An international bestseller, she is published in 120 countries with more than 40 million copies sold across the globe. \u201cPieces of Her,\u201d based on her novel, debuted at #1 worldwide on Netflix as an original series in 2022. Slaughter\u2019s thriller series, \u201cWill Trent,\u201d is now in its fourth season. \u201cThe Good Daughter\u201d has been adapted into a limited series and further projects are currently in development for film\/TV. A variety of craft supplies will be available, along with examples and guidance.<\/p>\n<p>On July 9, Scrabble Mania will take place from 11 a.m. to noon. Open to all ages and skills levels. Bring your own game or use one provided by the library.<\/p>\n<p>Island Adventures Family Storytime will be held on July 10 from 10:30 to 11 a.m. with the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW). Attendees will meet some of CROW\u2019s animal ambassadors and learn how the organization works to help Sanibel\u2019s native wildlife. They will read, play, sing and learn.<\/p>\n<p>On July 14, Island Adventures Fairy Tale Storytime &amp; Tea Party will take place from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Open to children of all ages, attendees will step into a world of enchantment as they gather for a fun-filled story time event. They will enjoy classic fairy tales, sip on pretend tea, and craft their own royal crown or wand. Attendees can come dressed as their favorite fairy tale character.<\/p>\n<p>Master Storyteller Windell Campbell will be held on July 15 from 3 to 4 p.m. He will bring tales to life with captivating narratives and vibrant performances. Campbell\u2019s storytelling weaves together humor, history and heartfelt moments, making it an event for listeners of all ages.<\/p>\n<p>WEEKLY PROGRAMMING<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Family Storytime: Fridays and Tuesdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>Bring the whole family to enjoy stories, songs, movement and early literacy play centers that spark creativity and motor skills. Open to babies and toddlers and their caregivers.<\/p>\n<p>Library cards are available to residents of Sanibel and Lee County at no charge.
