(WCTV) &#8211; Three men are expected to be sentenced Monday for their role in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2024\/03\/25\/dispatch-im-hit-tpd-releases-body-cam-video-september-home-invasion-that-left-officer-shot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2024\/03\/25\/dispatch-im-hit-tpd-releases-body-cam-video-september-home-invasion-that-left-officer-shot\/\">2023 home invasion that left a Tallahassee police officer shot<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2026\/05\/01\/he-was-shot-what-closing-arguments-conclude-jury-deliberating-officer-shooting-trial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2026\/05\/01\/he-was-shot-what-closing-arguments-conclude-jury-deliberating-officer-shooting-trial\/\">In May<\/a>, a jury found John\u2019Darious Wright, Rahyim Sanders and Tyrell Guinnie guilty of two home invasions that happened the same night at separate locations in September 2023.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"John\u2019Darious Wright, Rahiym Sanders and Tyrell Guinnie (left to right) are accused in the...\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/7BMYS2ADC5GJBE76PDFH5Z6W4A.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>John\u2019Darious Wright, Rahiym Sanders and Tyrell Guinnie (left to right) are accused in the September 25 shooting of a Tallahassee Police officer.(Photos\/Tallahassee Police Department, Gainesville Police Department)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Wright was accused in both invasions, while Guinnie and Sanders were only accused in the second, in which Tallahassee Police Officer Caleb Babb was shot. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The second home invasion happened on Sandpiper Court. Wright was accused of shooting Officer Babb while running from the home invasion. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">As a result, Officer Babb suffered massive blood loss but survived.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Prosecutors also said Wright shot another man during the first home invasion earlier that same night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Ultimately, the jury found Wright and Sanders guilty of attempted first-degree murder.
