{"id":331762,"date":"2026-07-07T12:56:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-07T12:56:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/331762\/"},"modified":"2026-07-07T12:56:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-07T12:56:08","slug":"jacksonville-teen-shot-and-killed-on-the-northside-jso-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/331762\/","title":{"rendered":"Jacksonville teen shot and killed on the Northside, JSO says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 18-year-old&#8217;s mother said he had just graduated Ed White High School and was getting ready to enlist in the Navy. <\/p>\n<p>JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 A Jacksonville 18-year-old is dead after a shooting on the Northside early Tuesday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff&#8217;s Office (JSO).<\/p>\n<p>JSO investigators said officers were called to the 11000 block of Bridges road around 12:40 a.m. Tuesday to reports that a person was shot. Once they arrived, they found the man with at least one gunshot wound.
