Daniel\u2019s, the upscale steakhouse concept that first opened in Fort Lauderdale then took Coral Gables by storm, will be opening a third restaurant on the water.<\/p>\n

Father-daughter duo Thomas and Kassidy Angelo of Gioia Hospitality Group have announced they will be opening the new restaurant at Aimco\u2019s luxury development at 560 NE 34th St. in Miami\u2019s Edgewater neighborhood.<\/p>\n

The restaurant, which will sprawl across 11,500 square feet, will be located on Biscayne Bay in a neighborhood that\u2019s already home to upscale spots like Amara at Paraiso from chef Michael Schwartz\u2019s Genune Hospitality and Klaw in the historic Miami Woman\u2019s Club building. The new Daniel\u2019s will feature 2,500 square feet of outdoor space and have an outdoor bar directly on the bay.<\/p>\n

Angelo, also the force behind the upcoming La Sponda Italian restaurant at Grove Isle in Coconut Grove, which is expected to open later this year, said Edgewater is a \u201creally interesting location.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cKassidy and I are really excited to bring the Daniel\u2019s experience and hospitality to this location,\u201d he said, adding that its Edgewater home \u201cwill allow people who live nearby in Bay Point or the Design District or even Miami Beach to experience Daniel\u2019s\u201d without making the long drive to Coral Gables.<\/p>\n

Kassidy Angelo, who lives in nearby Midtown, agrees Edgewater is a great location.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis location allows us to introduce a whole new audience to the hospitality, quality and guest experience we\u2019ve built at Daniel\u2019s,\u201d she said. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to become part of this neighborhood and create a waterfront destination the community can enjoy for years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

The first Daniel\u2019s opened in Fort Lauderdale in 2024<\/a> and was so successful it prompted Angelo to convert his Coral Gables restaurant Fiola into Daniel\u2019s Miami in 2025<\/a>. Earlier this year, Daniel\u2019s Miami was the first restaurant in the United States to host the international Rare Tour, an invitation-only culinary series with award-winning chefs and iconic steakhouses, and was named one of the top steakhouses in the world<\/a> by World\u2019s 101 Best Steak Restaurants.<\/p>\n

The new Daniel\u2019s restaurant is expected to open in late 2027 or early 2028.<\/p>\n
