An 18-year-old killed in a crash Oct. 26 is being remembered by his family as someone who touched countless hearts.<\/p>\n
David Salazar-Castillo died when the car he was riding in left the road and hit a palm tree head-on on 58th Street North in Largo, according to the Largo Police Department.<\/p>\n
The driver, 21-year-old Arael Vaquero, was heading south on 58th Street North at a high speed when he crashed into two fixed objects, police said. Vaquero was taken to a hospital with injuries.<\/p>\n
Investigators determined impairment was a factor in the crash, police said. Vaquero was charged with DUI manslaughter.<\/p>\n
Salazar-Castillo was one of four brothers who shared an unbreakable bond, according to a GoFundMe set up to help his family with funeral expenses.<\/p>\n
