Since Epic Universe<\/a> opened in 2025, I\u2019ve probably been around 30 times, and I still notice new details every time I visit. From hidden dragons I didn\u2019t know existed in the Isle of Berk<\/a>, or another reference to my childhood video games in Super Nintendo World<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"I have bad news<\/p>\n

While I love exploring everything new, I also can\u2019t help but have the favorites that I return to time and time again. If you know me, you know I spend a lot of time in Dark Universe<\/a>, and yeah, maybe I still want to kiss Dracula<\/a> on Monsters Unchained, but I also love the food. When I went to grab my favorite snack recently, I was hit with something terrible \u2014 my baked potato is gone, and I might need some privacy at this time.<\/p>\n

At The Burning Blade Tavern<\/a>, you could grab the Charred Loaded Potato<\/a> for $11.49, which was hickory-char-crusted with montery jack, sour cream, jalape\u00f1o bacon, and chives on top. Now, my baked potato is off the menu!<\/p>\n

\"\"My actual reaction<\/p>\n

I could not ask for more out of this potato and was even quoted back in May saying this is \u201cone of the best I\u2019ve had in a long time,\u201d and trust me, I meant it. Everything was perfectly portioned, and it felt much fancier than a lot of theme park food I\u2019ve had. Come on, even the skin of the potato was infused with flavor!<\/p>\n

\"\"It was shockingly good<\/p>\n

The jalape\u00f1o bacon added a great heat, and the smokiness from the char took it to the next level. The portion was amazing too, and while you can definitely share it, I know it\u2019s the perfect lunch after a long day in the theme park.<\/p>\n

\"\"Doesn\u2019t that look amazing?<\/p>\n

Well, it WAS a perfect lunch in the theme parks and now I don\u2019tknow what to do with myself. I guess I\u2019ll just have to order something else like the Hunter\u2019s Garlic Stake<\/a>, which is a crispy garlic butter pretzel with garlic dipping sauce\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026or Burning Cheddar Bites<\/a>, which are crispy fried poppers with sriracha ranch. The burnt cheddar reminded me of some of the cheese on a Taco Bell quesadilla, but none of this will make up for my potato.<\/p>\n

Fish On A Stake also still lives on at Das Stakehaus<\/a>, which is another favorite of mine. The blackened salmon and green onion mashed potatoes are exactly what I need after a long day traveling through the portals.<\/p>\n

The drinks are also pretty good here!<\/p>\n
