A person was rushed to the hospital Wednesday evening after being shot in a drive-by, deputies say.<\/p>\n

Around 6:20 p.m., the Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office was alerted to a shooting in the 19600 block of Southwest 308th Street in Homestead.<\/p>\n

In the front yard, deputies found a person who had been shot several times. The person told authorities a vehicle drove by and at least one person inside fired.<\/p>\n

Information on the type of vehicle or possible suspects was not immediately available.<\/p>\n

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took the injured person to a hospital. Their condition was unclear.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.<\/p>\n
