Plantation, FL – Plantation police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate the theft of a tractor trailer that was reported stolen before being recovered a short time later.<\/p>\n
According to investigators, officers responded after receiving reports that a tractor trailer had been taken from a business in Plantation. <\/p>\n
Police said the vehicle was later located abandoned, but the suspect had already fled the area before officers arrived.<\/p>\n
Authorities released surveillance images showing the individual they believe is connected to the theft and are working to identify and locate the person. <\/p>\n
Investigators have not released the suspect’s name, and no arrests have been announced as the investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n
Police said the tractor trailer was recovered without significant damage, but officials have not disclosed whether any cargo was inside the vehicle at the time it was allegedly stolen or whether anything was reported missing.<\/p>\n
