SoDough Square Pizza<\/a> launched its second shop in Tampa after its St. Pete store on 4th Street took off. This spot dishes out Detroit-style pies and other Motor City favorites.<\/p>\n

You’ll find the Tampa outpost at 138 S Dale Mabry Highway, close to where Kennedy Boulevard crosses. Rob Bair makes the pizzas at both stores. He calls St. Pete home.<\/p>\n

“I love both areas,” Bair said, according to Tampa Bay 28<\/a>. “So let’s try it over here.”<\/p>\n

Bair grew up in Detroit. His menu pulls from those Michigan roots \u2014 square pizzas and Coney dogs done Detroit-style.<\/p>\n

The first shop opened at 6925 4th St. N in St. Petersburg, and customers flocked to it, which pushed Bair to cross the bay.<\/p>\n

Tampa’s spot runs smaller than the St. Pete one. Carryout drives most orders here, but you’ll get the same food.<\/p>\n

Bair brought on almost 20 workers across his two restaurants, and a third Tampa Bay shop might happen soon, adding more jobs.<\/p>\n

Tampa folks can now grab Detroit-style pizza without driving over the bridge. These square pies pack thick crusts, with cheese baked right to the rim.<\/p>\n

Coney dogs sit on the menu beside the pizzas at both places, topped the way they do it in the Motor City.<\/p>\n
