St. Petersburg, FL – Two Holocaust survivors were recognized at Tropicana Field before Wednesday night’s Tampa Bay Rays game, taking part in a ceremonial first pitch during an annual event dedicated to remembrance and Holocaust education.<\/p>\n
Vera Adler and Laszlo Adler threw the ceremonial first pitches before the Rays faced the New York Yankees in St. Petersburg. <\/p>\n
Their appearance was part of the Florida Holocaust Museum’s annual Night at the Rays, an event that honors Holocaust survivors while raising awareness and support for the museum’s educational programs.<\/p>\n
