SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. \u2014 Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that shut down a stretch of State Road 417 near Oviedo early Friday.<\/p>\n

Update: <\/p>\n

FHP has release new details about this crash. Investigators said a car crashed into a truck that was parked in an active construction zone on SR-417, north of Aloma Avenue.<\/p>\n

Troopers said the driver of a 2022 Acura ILX was traveling northbound in the outside lane when his car drifted onto the inside lane that was closed for active construction.<\/p>\n

The car struck the rear of a parked Ford F-650 construction truck.<\/p>\n

FHP said the driver of the Acura, 25, of Kissimmee, died at the crash site.<\/p>\n

Officials said they are investigating what led to the crash, including what caused the vehicle to enter into the lane closure.<\/p>\n

FHP did not report any additional injuries.<\/p>\n

The crash forced the closure of a stretch of State Road 417 near Oviedo early Friday.<\/p>\n

Shortly before 1 a.m., Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash near mile marker 39.<\/p>\n

Troopers shut down the northbound lanes of SR-417 for several hours.<\/p>\n

Channel 9 was near the scene as law enforcement diverted northbound traffic onto Aloma Avenue; the entrance ramp from Aloma Avenue onto SR-417 NB was also inaccessible to drivers.<\/p>\n

Troopers reopened the northbound lanes of SR-417 around 5:30 a.m.<\/p>\n
