Whether you\u2019re looking to furnish a new place, start fresh with a new-to-you wardrobe, or just generally shop cheap and support local, these are the Orlando-area businesses for you.<\/p>\n

Avalon Exchange

This Winter Park spot specializes in clothing and accessories both modern and vintage. It\u2019s rare to catch Avalon Exchange on a day where its aisles aren\u2019t bustling with thrifters hauling piles of pre-worn gems off the racks.<\/p>\n

Dechoes Resale

Dechoes has long boasted two locations of its men\u2019s and women\u2019s used designer clothing shop, until the brand recently announced it would be consolidating its efforts into only the East Colonial location. So while the curated pieces are here to stay, you do have limited time to visit the store at 2110 Edgewater Drive and dig your way through new-to-you closet staples.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking for a way to get lost in the A\/C for a couple hours, Orange Tree Antiques Mall should be your first stop. This sprawling space is a winding labyrinth of vendor stalls offering any kind of piece from the past you can think of \u2014 and probably some you couldn\u2019t possibly imagine. It\u2019s a great place to find oddball gifts, collectible tchotchkes and some eye-popping home decor.<\/p>\n

Out of the Closet

Do some thrifting and support your community. Orlando\u2019s Out of the Closet location offers a way for shoppers to simultaneously discover preloved gems and direct cash towards the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. The shop boasts clothing, housewares, decor and furniture inside its Mills 50 building, which doubles as a clinic offering free rapid STI\/HIV testing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

OMG! Thrift

The most dedicated of thrifters can sift through this Casselberry shop and uncover their next big find with ease. It\u2019s a well-organized (yet bustling) store with loads of both well-aged and more modern clothing, shoes and accessories, plus shelves upon shelves of books, artwork, kitchenwares, holiday decorations, full dining sets, boutique options, kids\u2019 toys and entertainment.<\/p>\n

The Owl\u2019s Attic

Audubon Park has no shortage of small businesses to scour through, but The Owl\u2019s Attic is one not to miss. The intimate shop offers a wide selection of clothing and accessories hand-picked by the store\u2019s team, creating a warm shopping atmosphere curated to the style icon tastes of Orlando.<\/p>\n

The Lovely Vintage Market

Another Audubon Park mainstay, The Lovely is a popular vintage space specializing in apparel, furniture (largely of the mid-century modern variety) and some handmade gifts and goodies. It\u2019s locally owned, it\u2019s eclectic and it\u2019s a great way to spend an afternoon shopping \u2019til you drop.<\/p>\n

Community Thrift

This longtime cash-only store is full of treasures waiting to be unearthed. The clothing selection is always worth the browse, but the true star of Community Thrift is the homeware section. It\u2019s largely priced much lower than an antique mall, but often houses items of the same quality you\u2019d find in a more curated shop \u2014 if you know how to look.\u00a0<\/p>\n
