TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – It is not going to be a washout of a weekend, but with a LOT of moisture and a southwest wind, showers and storms look to impact many spots throughout the area this weekend.<\/p>\n

Weekend showers<\/p>\n

As you head out the door this morning, it is mainly dry with sun and clouds and humid! Most of us should be able to get outside without getting wet this morning but changes this afternoon. <\/p>\n

For those who have outdoor plans this weekend, showers and storms will develop late this morning through the late afternoon. Coverage peaking early to late afternoon. <\/p>\n

In between scattered showers, it is going to be hot and humid with partly sunny skies. Highs in the mid-90s, feeling like 100 to 107. <\/p>\n

Scattered storms are back tomorrow. Again, it will be another day where showers will be spotty in the morning, turning scattered in the afternoon. Highs in the low 90s.<\/p>\n

The rain looks like it will get started a little earlier on Sunday as a front approach from the north and A LOT of muggy air will combine for a better chance of storms. <\/p>\n

Some of these storms could be strong to severe with frequent lightning, gusty winds and heavy rainfall. <\/p>\n

If you are heading to the beach or will be boating this weekend. Waters will have a small chop today, more choppy tomorrow. <\/p>\n

Rain chances peak on Monday as the front stalls just north of our area. Storms could be strong with gusty winds, frequent lightning and heavy rainfall. The best chance of rain will be in the early afternoon. But morning and evening showers are possible too. <\/p>\n

No big changes beyond Monday, as scattered showers and storms stay in the forecast, just not as widespread. Highs muggy in the low to mid-90s.<\/p>\n
