If LeBron James makes Miami Heat fans’ dreams come true by signing with the team in free agency, they may end up getting a bonus reunion with Kevin Love. <\/p>\n

According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, Love could be considered a “plus 1” <\/a>to any team that ends up acquiring LeBron. If that were to happen, it’s hard to envision how that’d be a problem for anyone in the Heat’s front office or coaching staff, including the fan base. <\/p>\n

During his two-plus seasons as a member of the Heat, Love emerged as a pretty lovable (and effective) player <\/a>within the fan base. His professionalism and locker room presence throughout his tenure in Miami would make him a great addition if it came to that. <\/p>\n

Kevin Love’s shooting and professionalism could be a welcome sight <\/p>\n

From a basketball standpoint, adding another shooting big wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world, either, for Miami. Even though he’s not the player he once was<\/a>, his shooting at his position is considered a luxury in the Association.<\/p>\n

And with defensive anchors like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo, Love is a player who could be hidden schematically on that end of the floor. His shooting would be a great addition for a team that is considered to need much of it still. <\/p>\n

Since their days together in Cleveland, LeBron and Love still hold a strong relationship. Considering that one of LeBron’s main goals as he nears the last year or two of his career is happiness, it would make sense for him to bring along a good friend like Love. <\/p>\n

Maybe there’s a reunion for both in Cleveland, or in Miami, in their cards this season. <\/p>\n

Either way, you’d imagine that Love would be welcomed in both landing spots. Whatever team lands LeBron, Love is the type of veteran who could play a huge role in the locker room (as a calming presence) and on the court (as an extension of the coaching staff).<\/p>\n

There’s still no timeline for a decision from LeBron <\/p>\n

There’s no question the Heat would welcome it. The question is, when will LeBron finally make a decision? There’s no telling when it will happen. At this point, you’d have to wonder if there is going to be some addd pomp and circumstance to the decision, or if it’s just going to happen at any point. <\/p>\n

I wouldn’t suggest that a Decision 2.0 is coming, but would he make it on a podcast? Would he give the public a timeline of when it will happen? <\/p>\n

No matter what it ends up being, the Heat would likely want an answer sooner rather than later. Miami’s roster construction in the first year of the Giannis build has hit a standstill for LeBron. <\/p>\n

The hope is that a decision from LeBron comes soon, and it ends up with a second stint with the Heat. Even if it requires bringing Love around for the ride, you’d have to imagine the Heat’s front office would sign up for it in an instant. <\/p>\n
