MIAMI \u2014 A video of a dog staring longingly at another dog that was eating hot dogs during the Miami Marlins Bark at the Park night on June 22 quickly went viral. <\/p>\n
After a massive search, fans helped the Miami Marlins identify the \u201cvery good boy\u201d as Jonah, a 6-year-old Arubian Cunucu rescue, and an invitation went out. <\/p>\n
\u201cSeeing that face, we knew we had to do something to make his day,\u201d Alex Parker, the chief brand officer of the Miami Marlins, said. <\/p>\n
Jonah wore a custom Miami Marlins jersey on Sunday at the loanDepot Park in Little Havana. His owner, Peter Silveira, threw out the ceremonial pitch before the Guardians vs. Marlins series finale. <\/p>\n
\u201cI think it\u2019s every guy\u2019s dream come true,\u201d Silveira said. <\/p>\n
Jonah and his family watched the game from a suite. Chewy made sure Jonah had plenty of toys and treats. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe wanted to add to that dream and with a bunch of hot dogs,\u201d Kari Hinojosa, of Chewy, said. <\/p>\n
And finally, during the fourth inning, fans watched Marlins.TV\u2019s Jeremy Tach\u00e9 feed Jonah hot dogs. <\/p>\n
\u201cSports is about bringing people together and doing good in this community. When you have a lightning in the bottle moment like Johan that is the first thing we thought of,\u201d Parker said. <\/p>\n
