POLK COUNTY, Fla. \u2013 Quick thinking by state troopers may have saved a kidnapping victim last Wednesday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n
Troopers say they received a BOLO (be on the lookout) alert for a white truck that investigators believe was involved in a kidnapping out of Orange County.<\/p>\n
Troopers say they spotted the truck on State Road 570 in Polk County, caught up to it and stopped it.<\/p>\n

FHP says troopers handcuffed the suspect, Jeremy Mason, and placed him in the back of a patrol vehicle.<\/p>\n
Troopers say they then spoke with the victim, who told them she was dating Mason.<\/p>\n
The victim says she was in the truck with Mason that morning when an argument started after she accused him of cheating, troopers say.<\/p>\n
She then told troopers Mason became physical and would not let her leave, according to FHP.<\/p>\n
Troopers say the two drove through multiple counties, stopping at a coffee shop and a gas station, while she was unable to get away.<\/p>\n
FHP says the victim told troopers Mason also threatened her, saying at one point, \u201cI want to kill you.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mason was arrested and faces multiple charges. <\/p>\n
He is being held in the Polk County Jail with no bond. <\/p>\n
