FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 Two men were arrested in connection with a $10,000 theft from a local business in Fort Pierce. <\/p>\n
The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO) said its Patrol Operations Bureau and Criminal Investigations Division worked together to arrest Ernesto Artiles, 54, and Maykel Garcia Izada, 46, after $10,000 in materials were reported stolen from The Porch Factory.<\/p>\n
The sheriff’s office said authorities responded to the scene on October 30 and detectives conducted interviews and collected evidence that led to the identification and arrest of Artiles and Izada. <\/p>\n

His alleged accomplice, Izada of Port St. Lucie, faces grand theft involving property valued between $750 and $5,000.<\/p>\n During the course of the investigation, detectives said they recovered a portion of the stolen materials at one of the suspect\u2019s residences.
