The surrounding frame has been painted shades of blue and the faux button decals were removed. The LED sign above still says \u201cSpace Ranger Map.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Below is what the space looked like when Buzz met there, featuring a Buzz-inspired color scheme.<\/p>\n<p><a data-fslightbox=\"1\" data-type=\"image\" aria-label=\"Open fullscreen lightbox with current image\" data-caption=\"Photo from 2023\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/MK-buzz-meet-and-greet-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1067\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/MK-buzz-meet-and-greet-1.jpg\" alt=\"Buzz Lightyear meet and greet at Magic Kingdom in 2023\" class=\"wp-image-922460\"\/><\/a>Photo from 2023<\/p>\n<p>The metallic columns on the side also got new blue trim and battery-inspired theming was removed from the flooring.<\/p>\n<p>The meet and greet is located under the PeopleMover track next to Buzz Lightyear\u2019s Space Ranger Spin, which was <a href=\"https:\/\/wdwnt.com\/2026\/03\/photos-video-buzz-lightyears-space-ranger-spin-upgrades-magic-kingdom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" aria-describedby=\"external-link-warning\">recently reimagined<\/a>. There is a second meet and greet spot here with a basic garage door background, as seen below.
