MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. \u2014 The Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office is asking for the public\u2019s help finding a missing South Florida dancer who has performed with some of the biggest names in Latin music.<\/p>\n
Investigators say 28-year-old Michael-Anthony Leones Espino, known to friends as Mykee, was last seen Sunday afternoon leaving a home along Southwest 161st Court and 142nd Terrace in west Miami-Dade County.<\/p>\n
Detectives and family members released several missing person flyers that indicate he may be in need of services.<\/p>\n
Videos from his Instagram page show Espino doing what he loved, dancing, after performing with major Latin artists including Rauw Alejandro and Rosal\u00eda.<\/p>\n
His friends are now hoping for his safe return.<\/p>\n
\u201cI met him during college at FIU,\u201d said friend Camilo Restrepo. \u201cIncredible guy, he was always so far into dancing, so while everybody else was busy and wanted to party and wanted to do other things, he was just so into the dancing. That\u2019s all he ever wanted to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
Earlier on Monday, Local 10 News cameras captured deputies blocking off the street outside his family\u2019s home with crime scene tape.<\/p>\n
Detectives say his family is now asking for privacy and have not released any further details about Espino\u2019s disappearance.<\/p>\n
Anyone with information on his whereabouts Is asked to contact the Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. <\/p>\n
