{"id":339638,"date":"2026-07-14T14:50:12","date_gmt":"2026-07-14T14:50:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/339638\/"},"modified":"2026-07-14T14:50:12","modified_gmt":"2026-07-14T14:50:12","slug":"zim-and-msc-add-jacksonville-to-asia-container-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/339638\/","title":{"rendered":"ZIM and MSC add Jacksonville to Asia container service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"391\" class=\"entry-thumb\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/1dee53fc2577c80014d808769add215b-696x391.jpeg\"   alt=\"ZIM and MSC\u2019s ZCP-Amberjack container service now calls JAXPORT weekly from Asia\" title=\"ZIM and MSC\u2019s ZCP-Amberjack container service now calls JAXPORT weekly from Asia\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"58\" data-end=\"317\">ZIM Line and Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) have added JAXPORT to their ZCP-Amberjack container service, strengthening weekly connections between Jacksonville and Asia while expanding access to Latin America, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"319\" data-end=\"432\">The Sapphire became the first vessel to call Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) under the new service.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"434\" data-end=\"679\">The weekly rotation links Qingdao, Ningbo and Shanghai in China, Busan in South Korea, Manzanillo in Panama, Cartagena in Colombia, Charleston, Savannah, Jacksonville, Kingston in Jamaica and returns to Busan.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"781\">The service offers transit times of approximately 28 to 32 days from North Asia to Jacksonville.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"783\" data-end=\"939\">Through ZIM\u2019s transshipment hubs in Kingston and Cartagena, customers can also access additional markets, including the west coast of South America.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"941\" data-end=\"1316\">The service further expands connections to destinations across Latin America, including Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and Guyana, while adding Aruba to JAXPORT\u2019s Caribbean network alongside Cura\u00e7ao and Panama.
