Love Sanibel Back will continue on July 20-26 with Week 8, themed \u201cWild Mile Week.\u201d Residents and visitors are invited to discover the wildlife, natural beauty and conservation organizations that make Sanibel unlike anywhere else. Each day will spotlight one of the island\u2019s nature-focused destinations, with special offers, educational opportunities and volunteer projects, along with nature-themed wellness activities at the Sanibel Recreation Center. The schedule is as follows: Tarpon Bay Explorers Day on July 20; Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum & Aquarium Day on July 21; Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) Day on July 22; J.N. \u201cDing\u201d Darling National Wildlife Refuge Day on July 23; and Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) Day on July 24. Participants can also photograph the wildlife that they encounter and share their adventures on social media using #LoveSanibelBack. Running from now through August, Love Sanibel Back\u2019s 2026 theme is \u201cBuy Local \u2014 Spread Joy \u2014 Give Back.\u201d The community initiative includes over 75 participating businesses and partners. It it hosted by Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, in partnership with the city of Sanibel and SanCap Chamber and with support from sponsors and businesses.
