{"id":340065,"date":"2026-07-14T21:07:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-14T21:07:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/340065\/"},"modified":"2026-07-14T21:07:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-14T21:07:08","slug":"man-fleeing-immigration-officers-in-florida-struck-and-killed-by-tractor-trailer-cops-say-nbc-6-south-florida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/340065\/","title":{"rendered":"Man fleeing immigration officers in Florida struck and killed by tractor trailer, cops say \u2013 NBC 6 South Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man running from an encounter with immigration and other federal agents at a gas station in Florida was struck and killed by a tractor trailer on Tuesday, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>The 28-year-old was among four occupants of a vehicle that stopped in the parking lot of the gas station and convenience store in St. Augustine before 7 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>During an encounter with agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement as well as Homeland Security Investigations, the four fled on foot, with one darting across a busy road into the path of the semi, Florida Highway Patrol Sgt.
