\u201cFirefighters quickly extinguished the blaze and prevented it from spreading beyond the area around the garage,\u201d CCFD officials stated in a social media post. \u201cHowever, due to the extent of the damage, the home is considered a total loss.\u201d<\/p>\n
Preliminary findings indicate the fire likely started in a shed outside the home before spreading into the attic, CCFD officials said.<\/p>\n
The exact cause remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshal\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
