For 16 years,\u00a0Hamburger Mary\u2019s in Orlando\u00a0was a popular restaurant and entertainment destination. After closing a few years ago due to a lack of foot traffic and altered city dynamics, it now has a brand-new home at Old Town in Kissimmee.<\/p>\n<p>2. The new restaurant and entertainment space is pressed up against the Old Town marquee, replacing a shuttered traditional Shoney\u2019s diner with a high-energy, flamboyant vibes.<\/p>\n<p>3. Hamburger Mary\u2019s is known for its boisterous drag queen shows. Lexi Long is one of the performers whom we caught up with before a Sunday Broadway Brunch. \u201cWe created such a community downtown,\u201d he told us. \u201c[It\u2019s] a community that really stood behind us and who was there for us, no matter what we did or what show we did.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>4. The venue also hosts celebrity impersonation shows, bingo, and has regular family dining.
