One person was rushed to the hospital after they were shot early Wednesday in central Broward, according to the sheriff’s office. <\/p>\n
Deputies responded shortly before 2:30 a.m. to a report of a shooting in the 2800 block of Northwest Sixth Court, authorities said.<\/p>\n
They found the victim near Northwest Seventh Street and Northwest 29th Terrace, and paramedics took them to the hospital. <\/p>\n
Information on the victim’s age or condition was not immediately available. Authorities also did not provide information about a possible suspect. <\/p>\n
“Detectives with BSO’s Crime Scene and Violent Crimes Unit were notified and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this shooting,” the sheriff’s office said. <\/p>\n
