JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2013\u00a0University of North Florida Athletics announced another record-setting year in fundraising and revenue generation behind the effort and support of its Osprey\u00a0Boosters,\u00a0Development staff, programs and more in 2025-26.

\n“This extraordinary fundraising success is a powerful reflection of what can be accomplished when a community rallies behind a shared vision for North Florida Athletics,” Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Nick Morrow<\/a>\u00a0said. “The record-setting support we received during the 2025-26 year speaks volumes about the confidence our alumni, donors, fans, corporate\u00a0partners\u00a0and friends have in the direction of our department and the potential of our student-athletes. Every gift, regardless of size,\u00a0represents\u00a0an investment in opportunities that enhance the student-athlete experience and position our programs for long-term success. We are deeply grateful for the generosity and belief that continue to propel us forward. The momentum surrounding North Florida Athletics is undeniable, and we are excited to build on this foundation as we pursue even greater achievements together in the years ahead.”\u00a0

\nThe record-setting year for North Florida Athletics was highlighted by unprecedented donor support, academic achievements, strategic facility\u00a0enhancements\u00a0and athletic success across various sports. In addition to record fundraising efforts, the department made significant strides in revenue generation, fan\u00a0experience\u00a0and other areas. These efforts reinforce the commitment to providing an elevated world-class experience for North Florida’s student-athletes in the new era of college athletics.

\n\tFundraising and revenue generation achievements were highlighted by a department-record\u00a0$9,895,366 raised by 2,829 donors. The amount raised is a department record and\u00a0represented\u00a0a 23% increase from the\u00a0previous record\u00a0set in FY25.
\n\tFor the fourth consecutive fiscal year,\u00a0North Florida Athletics had over 2,800 donors \u2013 a first in school history.\u00a0
\n\tThe final sponsorship revenue for the 2025-26 year\u00a0was $1,238,527, marking a new department record.\u00a0
\n\tNorth Florida experienced another successful Giving Day in FY26. Athletics raised $650,443.88 from a\u00a0record count\u00a0of\u00a01,965 donors, marking the second-highest fundraising total among all departments. Overall, North Florida Athletics accounted for 33% of all donors and 37% of all dollars raised during Giving Day, leading the university in both categories.\u00a0North Florida’s\u00a02026 Giving Day generated a total of $1,739,303 from 5,884 donors.
\n\tFor the second consecutive Giving Day, North Florida Athletics achieved 100% staff participation. Additionally, the Swoop Impact Fund recorded the highest donor participation within Athletics with 335 donors, while raising its second-highest total at $51,033.
\n\tThe sixth annual “904 Day” drove substantial results, raising $29,515 across 253 donors while focusing on nutrition with our smoothies for athletes’ initiative\u00a0courtesy of\u00a0Smoothie King.
\n\tNorth Florida Athletics continued to have\u00a0great success\u00a0in generating revenue from\u00a0fundraising\u00a0events with the coordinated efforts of its Development Team. Taking the lead was\u00a0Assistant Athletic Director of Development Operations and Special Events\u00a0Jaycie Wegner<\/a>.
\n\tNorth Florida Athletics’ eighth annual Blue\u00a0and\u00a0Gray Bash raised a gross revenue of $119,000 and net revenue of $89,000 with over 170 attendees.
\n\tThe annual “Fore” Scholarships Golf Classic at Queens\u00a0Harbour\u00a0Country Club grossed $98,000 and was sold out for the second-straight year.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

The achievement\u00a0is about the collective investment of alumni, donors, fans,\u00a0friends\u00a0and our corporate partners who are helping provide opportunities for our\u00a0student-athletes\u00a0to succeed academically,\u00a0athletically\u00a0and personally. \nOn the facilities front, the Texana Bank Suite continued to thrive in its fourth year, providing a premium hospitality experience for North Florida Basketball\u00a0and Volleyball\u00a0fans. The Texana Bank Suite matched its record average from FY25 with 160 guests per game over 14 home contests. A vital year-round revenue source, The Texana Bank Suite\u00a0remains\u00a0a staple for North Florida Athletics through hosted events and premium access.\u00a0

\nThanks to the generosity of donors and corporate sponsors, North Florida Athletics succeeded in making the following facility enhancements during the 2025-26 athletic season.\u00a0

\n\tA major seven-figure renovation of UNF Arena was completed in October of 2025. The renovation featured new locker rooms and team spaces for the\u00a0Men’s\u00a0Basketball,\u00a0Women’s\u00a0Basketball,\u00a0Volleyball\u00a0and\u00a0Beach\u00a0Volleyball\u00a0programs.\u00a0Upgrades\u00a0and expansions were made to the athletic training room as well as a new\u00a0state-of-the-art\u00a0“Paryani\u00a0Theatre” video room. The newly renovated locker room and team spaces were\u00a0the first of its kind since UNF Arena was\u00a0built\u00a0over 30 years ago.
\n\tA complete overhaul of Harmon\u00a0stadium\u00a0featured\u00a0a new fully Artificial Turf field and a padded outfield wall courtesy of\u00a0Bragan\u00a0Better Baseball. Renovations to Harmon Stadium also included the implementation of Cook Corner and the W.W. Gay “Family Fun Zone” turfed area\u00a0down\u00a0the\u00a0left-field foul line. The completion of the new premium seating section known as “The Pit” offers an exclusive viewpoint down the right-field foul line with a drink rail, foot rail, Dream\u00a0Seats\u00a0and retractable awnings for shade. Complete bathroom renovations inside The Nest at Harmon Stadium were courtesy of Gary Rodgers Plumbing.
\n\tSpring 2026 marked the beginning of a $7 million to $8\u00a0million renovation of Hodges Stadium. The remodeling will encompass HVAC improvements, locker room enhancements and bathroom and concessions renovations. Fans will get an\u00a0improved\u00a0viewing section with the addition of hospitality and premium seating.
\n\tIn June 2026, land clearing began for North Florida’s new 2 1\/2-acre top-end grass soccer training fields, which are scheduled to be completed by the end of fall.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
