Court Street in downtown Jacksonville is scheduled to reopen to traffic Thursday after being closed for construction.<\/p>\n
According to the City of Jacksonville, the roadway will reopen at 10:00 a.m. on July 16, restoring access through one of the city’s historic downtown corridors.<\/p>\n
City officials are also reminding drivers about a new traffic pattern at the intersection of New Bridge Street and Court Street.<\/p>\n
The former free-flow right turn onto Court Street has been replaced with a stop-controlled intersection. Motorists traveling on New Bridge Street must now come to a complete stop before turning onto Court Street and may turn either left or right when it is safe to do so, according to the City of Jacksonville.<\/p>\n
The city is asking drivers to use caution and follow the new traffic controls as motorists adjust to the updated intersection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Court Street in downtown Jacksonville is scheduled to reopen to traffic Thursday after being closed for construction.
