Tampa St. with a new academic facility while preserving classes and campus operations throughout construction. Stetson will retain ownership of the law center, have permanent access to the project\u2019s hotel and parking garage and expects groundbreaking in late 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bromley Companies, the developer behind Midtown Tampa, is partnering with Stetson on the project. The property sits between downtown Tampa, the Heights District and the Hillsborough Riverwalk, where the redevelopment is planned as a pedestrian-oriented district combining academic, hospitality, residential, office and retail uses.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"985\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Announcement-Exhibit-Cropped-985x563.jpg\" alt=\"Rendering of the proposed mixed-use redevelopment at Stetson University's Tampa Law Center site, showing a new law center surrounded by residential, office, retail and public green space.\" class=\"wp-image-91982\"  \/>Rendering of the proposed mixed-use redevelopment at Stetson\u2019s Tampa Law Center property.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stetson has owned the property for 25 years. University officials said the project will modernize the Tampa campus while expanding continuing <a href=\"https:\/\/tbbwmag.com\/category\/events\/collaborations-in-education\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"11\" title=\"education\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">education<\/a> and degree programs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis partnership gives us the opportunity to reimagine our Tampa campus for the future,\u201d Stetson University College of Law Dean Ben Barros said in a statement. \u201cBy integrating a modern Stetson law center into a larger mixed-use environment, we can create a more dynamic setting for legal education, expand continuing education and degree programs, and strengthen our connections to downtown, the Riverwalk, and the surrounding community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Neither Stetson nor Bromley disclosed the project\u2019s estimated cost, development size or the number of residential units or hotel rooms.
