JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) &#8211; St. Joseph County police have identified the victim of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wndu.com\/2026\/07\/15\/st-joseph-county-fatal-crash-team-responds-crash-miami-highway\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wndu.com\/2026\/07\/15\/st-joseph-county-fatal-crash-team-responds-crash-miami-highway\/\">a two-vehicle head-on crash Wednesday evening<\/a> as Lori Wright, 63, of Lakeville.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The crash happened just before 5:30 p.m. in the 68000 block of Miami Highway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to investigators, Wright was driving a Volkswagen Jetta north on Miami Highway when the car came to a curve and crossed the center line, colliding with a southbound Ford F-150 head-on.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police said Wright died at the scene.
