This acquisition advances plans for a mixed-use development.<\/p>\n<p>TAMPA, Fla. \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtsp.com\/article\/money\/business\/westshore-plaza-redevelopment-plans-approved\/67-d14bf40a-5c9b-4363-b53a-58623e71146d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Westshore Plaza<\/a> at the corner of Kennedy and Westshore Boulevards has a new owner, court records show.<\/p>\n<p>A deed filed in Hillsborough County shows that Third Lake Partners closed on the nearly 54-acre property yesterday. Although the sale price was not disclosed, documents reviewed Thursday by 10 Tampa Bay News indicate that it was sold for roughly $135 million.<\/p>\n<p>This signals that the mall&#8217;s long-planned redevelopment is moving forward. This happened months after developers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtsp.com\/video\/news\/local\/hillsboroughcounty\/developers-announce-major-changes-to-international-plaza\/67-093396f9-581a-427f-9e37-6edc21fb8582\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">announced major changes to Westshore Plaza<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Renderings showed the vision approved by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtsp.com\/article\/money\/business\/westshore-plaza-redevelopment-plans-approved\/67-d14bf40a-5c9b-4363-b53a-58623e71146d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Tampa&#8217;s City Council in 2024<\/a>: a mixed-use development with homes, shops, restaurants, offices and more.<\/p>\n<p>Third Lake Partners, an Ybor City-based investment firm, is now set to make it happen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Third Lake Partners, based at Ybor City, purchased Westshore Plaza, court records show.
