Furious ride"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Universal Orlando has set a closing date for its Fast &amp; Furious \u2013 Supercharged attraction and teased its new <a href=\"https:\/\/blooloop.com\/fast-furious-coaster-universal-orlando\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fast &amp; Furious: Hollywood Drift<\/a> coaster.<\/p>\n<p>Starting with Fast &amp; Furious \u2013 Supercharged, the last day to ride the attraction will be 16 August, according to a notice shared with annual passholders.<\/p>\n<p>The post said that as the resort continues to &#8220;make way for the new Fast &amp; Furious: Hollywood Drift <a href=\"https:\/\/blooloop.com\/opinion\/best-themed-coasters-2020s\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">roller coaster<\/a> opening next year, we are permanently closing Fast &amp; Furious \u2013 Supercharged next month&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>As for the new Fast &amp; Furious-themed coaster, this will be the fastest in the Universal portfolio with speeds of up to 72 mph.<\/p>\n<p>Universal Orlando has now shared a first look at the ride&#8217;s 170-foot vertical spike, which will send guests nearly 17 storeys in the air, described as &#8220;just one of the high-octane thrills&#8221; of the new attraction.<\/p>\n<p>Located at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universalorlando.com\/web\/en\/gb\/theme-parks\/universal-studios-florida\" rel=\"nofollow noopener nofollow noopener nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Universal Studios Florida<\/a>, the ride will replace the former Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster.<\/p>\n<p>The Fast &amp; Furious franchise has earned more than $7 billion at the global box office, making it Universal Pictures&#8217; most profitable and longest running franchise.<\/p>\n<p>Universal&#8217;s fastest-ever coaster<\/p>\n<p>The new coaster is also coming to Universal Studios Hollywood in California, where <a href=\"https:\/\/blooloop.com\/theme-park\/news\/universal-studios-hollywood-fast-and-furious-studio-tour-closure\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fast &amp; Furious \u2013 Supercharged<\/a> closed in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>As the <a href=\"https:\/\/blooloop.com\/theme-park\/in-depth\/most-visited-theme-parks\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">theme park<\/a>\u2019s first-ever high-speed outdoor coaster, guests will race along 4,100 feet of aerial track in 360-degree rotating vehicles, designed to resemble iconic cars from Fast &amp;
