GAINESVILLE, Fla. \u2013 Florida diving welcomes South American Champion Juliana Giron to the women’s swimming and diving 2026-27 roster.<\/p>\n
“We’re thrilled to welcome Juliana to our team,” said Florida Head Diving Coach Bryan Gillooly. “For such a young diver, she already brings a wealth of experience and an impressive skill set. Her talent, work ethic, and competitive background make her an excellent fit for our program, and we’re excited to see the impact she’ll have on our team.”<\/p>\n
The Colombian diver has recently competed in multiple springboard and platform events at the 2025 Pan American Aquatics Championships in Medell\u00edn. Looking ahead to the next chapter of her career, Giron shared, “I chose the University of Florida because it feels like home. I know this is the place where I’ll be challenged and supported, and where I’ll become the athlete I aspire to be.”<\/p>\n
