TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – An arrest has been made in connection to a shooting on West Tharpe Street Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n
Chaddrick Jones, 23, was taken into custody and faces a charge of aggravated assault with a firearm, according to the Tallahassee Police Department. <\/p>\n
His arrest comes after the incident unfolded just before 2:40 p.m. in the 2700 block of West Tharpe Street, TPD wrote in a press release Friday.<\/p>\n
An investigation revealed that the incident began with an argument between the victim and several other individuals inside a vehicle, police said. During the altercation, one of the individuals in the vehicle discharged a firearm, hitting a vehicle nearby before fleeing the scene, according to the release.<\/p>\n
No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n
However, after the shooting occurred, police located the vehicle and the suspected shooter at a nearby apartment complex, officers said.<\/p>\n
Detectives then obtained a search warrant for an apartment, where TPD said the firearm believed to have been used in the shooting was recovered.<\/p>\n
